WISH Internship Program
Learn real world skills!

“WISH provided me with the resources to learn and assisted in my project needed for graduation. I had the ability to sit in on meeting in the offices on Capitol Hill and attend receptions that I would not have been able to otherwise. I believe my WISH internship was instrumental in securing a job when I graduated.”
— Mary L, North Carolina
WISH has interns on site each semester and assists with school credit projects! That’s not all, WISH students learn firsthand the professional skills needed to succeed in Washington D.C.
Students in the WISH Internship Program work side-by-side with the WISH team learning all about WISH. While interning with WISH interns have an opportunity to attend meetings with WISH partners and aligned organizations, as well as attend special events both on the Hill and in DC.

“At WISH I learned essential skills that help me in my current field and in other internships. I learned networking, resume building, and office etiquette. I had the opportunity to meet multiple professionals, interns, elected leaders, and people from companies in a variety of fields from government, journalism to private companies. WISH gave me the chance to make new friends, visit multiple museums and attractions, and create a professional relationship with WISH staff who still help support my future endeavors.”
