Spending Labor Day in DC

By Jocelyn Motley

As a Fall WISH Resident this might be your first Labor Day weekend in Washington DC! Although a city like DC may not provide typical backyard barbeques and pool parties there are tons of ways to celebrate the indication of summer ending this Labor Day weekend. This Sunday tap into your classical side and attend the National Symphony Orchestra. The best part? Outside of being able to hear world renowned artist celebrating classic American music the event is completely FREE with no tickets required. Seating is available on a first come first served basis.
