Verizon Center is playing host to an unusual event all weekend long, Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam.
National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Ice Rink: the ice rink is a favorite destination for those visitors embracing the chilly weather. Located on the National Mall between 7th and 9th Streets along Constitution Avenue NW. The hours our 10am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, 10am to 11pm on Friday through Saturday and Sunday is 11am to 9pm. Two hour sessions are $8 for adults with $3 skate rental.
National Gallery of Art: Picasso’s Drawings, 1890-1921: Reinventing Tradition, more than 50 Picasso drawings show the development of his artistic style over 30 years. This exhibit runs from January 29 through May 6. The admission price is FREE.
