7. Blood and Guts Run
Start getting in the gruesome spirit from this Saturday (October 24th) with a Blood and Guts Run (sounds fun right?). Some of the events include costume competitions (it wouldn’t be a Halloween event without one!), a DJ dance party and a 5k zombie obstacle course where the zombies will attempt to infect you with “blood” filled water guns.
This takes place at the Bull Run Regional Park, Centreville, VA.
8. DC Ghost Tours
DC has no shortage of Ghost Tours. One of the main tours is the Tour of Lafayette Square where you’ll see the sites of the hauntings of the poltergeist of the Hay-Adams Hotel and Lincoln’s ghost in the White House. You can also take the Capitol Hill Ghost tour to mingle with the spirits of past lawmakers, Lincoln conspiracy trials and the disturbances at the Folger Library. You might see the famed ghost of Dolley Madison!
Tours are offered at night (between 8-9:30p.m.), from March to November, but there are extra tours offered in the run up to Halloween.
Whatever you guys get up to over the next few weeks, we hope you have a spooky Halloween!
