Capitol Riverfront Outdoor Movies , June 4-Aug 27
See The Stars Beneath Our Stars! The Capitol Riverfront’s Thursday Night Movies return to Canal Park from June through August. This years lineup was selected or inspired by public demand, and celebrates characters whose decisions shape the world, space, and time!  The movie rolls at sundown, but we invite you to come early around 7:00 pm, bring a picnic, and enjoy the show!

Green Festival Expo, June 5-7
Held at the DC Convention Center, the event focuses on sustainability education and green products and services including authors, leaders and educators, hands-on DIY workshops, green films, kids’ activities, live music and more. *Admission Required* DC Jazz Festival, June 10-16 The festival presents a selection of the jazz genre’s most acclaimed artists as well as emerging artists, and provides enhanced exposure for the rich treasure trove of musicians from the Washington, DC area

Capital Pride Parade, June 13
Capital Pride is an annual event celebrating the spirit and strength in the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) communities in Washington, DC. The event brings together national and local LGBT organizations with more than 50 diverse educational and entertainment events. The highlights include a street festival and parade that are open to the public
