Congresswoman Gwen Moore was elected to represent Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District in 2004, making her the first African American elected to Congress from the State of Wisconsin. She is a member of the House Committee on Financial Services. She serves as the Ranking Member on the Financial Services Subcommittee on Monetary Policy and Trade, and finance organizations like the World Bank and the International RSVP Monetary Fund, and serves in the leadership of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.
